The late Brother Edward Muss, surrounded by tributes of respect, affection and regret, in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Shamshuipo, Kowloon, during Requiem Mass on 25 March 1975. Brother Edward was born in Bavaria in 1913. He joined the Marist Brothers in 1932, came to China in 1933, and taught for 42 years in Tientsin, Shanghai and Hong Kong. He died peacefully in Germany on 23 March. He was the first Marist Brother to teach in Hong Kong.
